Jesse Ball’s The Way Through Doors

I finished Jesse Ball’s The Way Through Doors last night.  Out of all the books I’ve ever read it’s probably my favorite book.  This might not be true.  I enjoyed it better than Jesse Ball’s last book Samedi the deafness, not to say that book wasn’t good, he’s just outdone himself with The Way Through Doors.

I’m trying to think of reasons why I liked this book so much.  You know how sometimes you pick up a book and you feel this need to read it, but it isn’t that good?  This does not happen with The Way Through Doors.  I kind of think Jesse Ball should meet Oprah.  If you’re reading this blog Oprah, you should buy this book.

Remember that time when you were little and you didn’t know how to read?  Then you read a book.  Then twenty years passed and you couldn’t remember what the name of the first book you ever read was.  This won’t happen with The Way Through Doors.

I’m going home for Thanksgiving.  I think I might put this book in the turkey.  That makes no sense.  It would be cool if Jesse Ball came to Thanksgiving.  I feel he could carve a turkey really well.
