I thought of you yesterday so I kissed the brick I was standing on. Then I dug out the brick and brought it home and put it under a quilt on a mattress so it could be warm and then later the brick was warm so I held it on my cheek because a warm brick feels better on a cheek than a cold brick and I held it on my cheek until it wasn’t as warm as it had been and then I put it back under a quilt on a mattress and went to eat dinner, but all that left in the fridge was a yogurt I had been saving for a special occasion and I felt l like my hunger was a special time of day in the year that I would feast on yogurt so I cleaned a spoon and put cold yogurt in my mouth because you always said, “Cold yogurt is much better than warm yogurt,” and I agreed with most of what you said. And then the yogurt was gone and I remembered once looking at you after you finished a small cup of yogurt and you asked why I was giving you a weird look and I laughed and you asked why I was laughing and I stopped laughing and you asked why I stopped laughing and I took the empty yogurt cup from your hand and threw it out.
